TV
Leon is currently penning a drama project with BBC via his production company, with Jolyon Symonds (‘Soulmates’, ‘Mint’ ,‘The Critic’) as co-executive producer. Leon has also began pilot and series development on his original comedy for ITV.
As co-founder of multi-award winning production company BWNG Ltd, a ‘Black HBO’ collective dedicated to pithy and autonomy-driven projects - no fewer than 3 of Leon’s productions are currently broadcast on TV, Airlines &/or SVOD platforms in over 80 countries worldwide including his debut project BROTHERS WITH NO GAME. The flagship show is also poised for a US adaptation powered by AGC Studios.
Leon has recently served as script editor on a host of exciting projects including Series 2 of ITV medical thriller MALPRACTICE (World), Channel 4 comedy pilot THE PHARMACY (Objective Fiction), and critically acclaimed BBC and Showtime/A24 series DREAMING WHILST BLACK (Big Deal).
DIGITAL
Leon is completing work on his original cross-Atlantic rom-com LONG HAUL, which will begin as an audio-drama in 2026. He is also in pre-production for a brand new season of talk series THE CIRCLE for Youtube and podcast respectively.
He has amassed multi-million views of webseries across streaming platforms and the Brothers With No Game Youtube Channel for his projects including Screen Nation award winner HOW DID WE GET HERE?’ and talk show SO HE SAYS.
Leon also co-developed a short form promo concept with Netflix for cult series THE END OF THE F***ING WORLD , storylined music videos for the late Cadet, M Huncho, and Central Cee respectively - and joined Curate Films to deliver branded content.
FILM
Leon is currently penning the Brothers With No Game feature for BBC Films, with Juno Studios on board as executive producers. He has also been greenlit by Four8 to write a motorsport biopic.
Leon was producer of BBC and BFI sci-fi short film BINGE WATCHING and commissioner/exec producer of newcomer Chantelle Aboorah’s drama short NIA for BBC Drama.
He is also developing a short film anthology series CONVERSE, and a s sci-fi collaboration UNTIMELY with filmmaker and music video director Dapo ‘DAPS’ Fagbenle.
His short film project THIRD ACT is available to watch on Black&SexyTV and Canal Plus.
